Information stored by the app
Scripture Mosaic stores personal study information locally on your device so the app can provide its reading and study features. Depending on how you use the app, this may include saved verses, highlights, notes, tags, reflections, prayers, reading state, preferences, Deep Studies, study reports, and related study content.
This personal study content is not sent to a Scripture Mosaic developer-operated server. Scripture Mosaic does not provide server-side cloud synchronization at launch.
Accounts
Scripture Mosaic does not require you to create an account. There is no Scripture Mosaic account profile containing your Bible-study activity.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
Scripture Mosaic does not display advertising and does not use analytics or tracking to build a profile of how you use the app.
Backup, export, and sharing
Backup and export features create files only when you choose to create them. You control whether those files leave your device and which app, service, person, or storage location receives them. Once you choose another service, that service's privacy practices apply to the copy you provide.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Scripture Mosaic may schedule local notifications on your device. You can manage notification permission through iOS settings and the app's notification settings.
Scripture Mosaic Pro purchases
The optional Scripture Mosaic Pro upgrade is a non-consumable lifetime in-app purchase processed through Apple's StoreKit and App Store systems. Scripture Mosaic does not process your payment-card information. Apple may process purchase and transaction information under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
Support communications
If you contact support@scripturemosaicapp.com, you voluntarily provide your email address and whatever information you include in your message. That information is used to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain appropriate support records. Scripture Mosaic support email is hosted through Zoho Mail.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or private study content unless it is necessary for the support issue you want addressed.
Website
The Scripture Mosaic website is static and does not intentionally use advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, user accounts, or payment processing. It is hosted using GitHub Pages. GitHub may process ordinary technical information associated with serving the site under its own privacy practices.
Third-party components and source material
Scripture Mosaic includes third-party software components and licensed or public-domain textual source material. Attribution or legal notices for those materials do not mean those providers receive your personal study data through the app.
Data retention and deletion
Because personal study data is stored locally, it generally remains on your device until you edit or delete it, restore different data, or remove the app and its local data. Backup or export files remain wherever you chose to save or share them.
Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to support requests, maintain continuity of support, and address technical or administrative issues.
Changes to this policy
If Scripture Mosaic's data practices materially change, this policy will be updated so it continues to describe the shipping app accurately.
